The Burny's Boney Bonnet is a community-created cosmetic item for the Pyro. It is a team-colored dragon hood that covers the top of the Pyro's head, with horns and spines along the middle.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.
The Burny's Boney Bonnet was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Update history
October 29, 2013 Patch (Scream Fortress 2013)
- The Burny's Boney Bonnet was added to the game.
Notes
- Using the Cream Spirit paint on this item provides absolutely no visual difference in-game on either team. This happens because the exact same color values are used for both the paint and the default "unpainted" color for the item.
