The Bird-Man of Aberdeen is a community-created cosmetic item for the Demoman. It is a macaw that stands on the Demoman's left shoulder and wobbles with the player's movements.
This item has three styles, named "Essential", "Distinguished", and "Imbued". The "Essential" style colors the bird green and yellow, the "Distinguished" style colors the bird white, resembling a cockatoo, and the "Imbued" style changes the belly feathers to a dull green.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
The Bird-Man of Aberdeen was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
