Update history
March 10, 2011 Patch (Shogun Pack)
- The Samur-Eye was added to the game.
- Fixed the Samur-Eye not being grayed out when paint is being used.
- The Samur-Eye was made tradable.
Notes
- The Samur-Eye is worn by Samurai Demo in Mann vs. Machine.
Trivia
- The Samur-Eye was inspired by the helmet worn by the samurai lord Date Masamune, also known as the "One-Eyed Dragon", who, similarly to the Demoman, lost one of his eyes during his youth.
- Unlike the Demoman, Date Masamune lost his right eye. Whilst he lost vision in his eye due to smallpox, it is unclear how he lost the eye altogether.
- The Samur-Eye makes an appearance on the promotional pictures for the Total War Master Collection, even though the item itself is not included in the bundle.
