The Hero's Tail is a promotional headwear item for the Scout. It replaces the Scout's default hat with Template:W's white and gray ponytail hairstyle with hanging sideburns. The ponytail swings while the Scout is in motion.
The Hero's Tail was awarded in Genuine quality to players who preordered The Witcher 2 before May 17, 2011.

Bugs
- This item is currently marked as paintable, however the preview shows no change.
- In some cases, this item clips slightly though the Scout's head.
Trivia
- The item's description is a reference to The Witcher, in which Geralt's skin and hair lose pigmentation as a result of the consumption of mutagens, a prerequisite of his transformation into a full Witcher.
