The Geisha Boy is a headwear item for the Medic. It is the haircut of a traditional Japanese Template:W with team-colored flowers and wrap.
The Geisha Boy was released with the Shogun Pack, awarded in Genuine quality to players who preordered Total War: SHOGUN 2 on Steam before March 15, 2011. It is also available through crafting, item drops, or purchase from the Mann Co. Store.
Update History
- Fixed the new Shogun hats not being grayed out when paint is being used.
Trivia
- The hat is named after the 1958 film Template:W.
- The Medic's silouhette can be seen on the Shogun Pack Update page, donning this hat.
- The haiku in the description is a parody of one by Matsuo Bashō, the most famous poet of Japan's Edo period:
old pond . . .
a frog leaps in
water’s sound
- The very first Template:W (芸者) were men, entertaining customers waiting to see the most popular and gifted courtesans whose skills include performing various Japanese arts such as classical music and dance.
